Operation Straight Spine volunteers

Our goal is to expand the scope of our mission work with Operation Straight Spine so that we can provide surgical sessions for increasing numbers of patients on a quarterly basis. This will require increasing the number of volunteer medical staff needed to travel abroad. Our goal is to have a pool of volunteers that would allow us to send a full medical team to the Mission Hospital in India every 3 months. Ideally each team would only be needed to travel once each year.
Needed volunteer staff include:
- Spinal surgeons (Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical)
- Anaesthesiologists
- CRNA’s
- Scrub Nurses
- PACU Nurses
- Orthopaedic ward nurses
- Neurosurgical ward nurses
- Circulating Nurses
- Certified Surgical Technicians
